Each Salish Seafoods oyster is hand-picked and hand-packed to deliver the freshest meats available on the market.
Approximately 10-12 hand picked clusters fill a bushel basket and 20 bushel baskets fill a tub. Oysters are transferred to our barge at high tide. Clusters are hand-shucked at the processing plant. Shucked oysters are sold in jars and singles are sold in the shell.
In what months can you eat oysters?
Our farming locations allow us to harvest oysters year round. The waterways around our tidelands are extra cold, and our oysters remain in the cold tide for the majority of each day.
