Harvest Info

Geoduck are currently being harvested according to quotas by members of the Squaxin Island tribe in the deep waters of the Southern Salish Sea (Puget Sound) and are naturally occurring (Not farm raised).  As with clams, harvest locations, schedules and quotas are determined by the Squaxin Island Tribe Department of Natural Resources (SITNR) based on population surveys.  SITNR’s goal is to protect the resource for future generations.

Because geoduck are most abundant in deep waters, diving is required.

Salish Seafoods is growing geoduck for harvest in the near future so stay tuned for details.
